| THE PURPOSE OF A HAIRANALYSIS. | |
|
A
hair analysis is a comprehensive investigation, which informs about the
mineral balance in the body. A hair analysis is also a fine tool to
reveal heavy metal poisoning. The hair is a living part of the body and
reflects the state of our health. When a heavy metal poisoning or a
mineral imbalance is revealed in the hair, it usually reflects a similar
poisoning and imbalance in the body. People
nowadays are constantly exposed to harmful elements from the industry,
cars, aeroplanes, from the food we eat, the water we drink, and from
amalgam fillings in our teeth. Symptoms and diseases like allergies,
impaired immune system, concentration problems, rheumatic problems, the
feeling of beeing tired, depressed, and dispirited, diffuse pains,
osteoporosis, and when it comes to children hyper activity and learning
difficulties, all could be the result of imbalance in the body´s
mineral level or heavy metal poisoning. The
hair is alive and growing, and does that by absorbing nutrients from the
body. In the hair follicle, which is the living part, the hair is
supplied with nutrients through small blood vessels. Of course it is not
a selective absorption of nutrients, therefore the hair absorbes
everything that the small blood vessels offer, including among others
heavy metals. The minerals and heavy metals settle in the hair, where
they are fixed and stay unchanged in the growing hair. Concequently the hair analysis informs precisely about the mineral concentration, which has accumulated in the hair tissue and therefore also in the body during the period the hair is growing. |

As the hair is growing approx. 1 cm every month, 3 cm of your hair (measured from the scalp and outwards) informs about the body´s mineral balance and the corresponding influences over the previous 3 months. When symptoms and diseases are to be diagnosed, it is exactly this ability of revealling influences back in time that many doctors, dentists, and complementary therapists are taking advantage of. The hair analysis have been used over the last 30-40 years, and is today regarded as a valuable and efficient supplement to the usual testing methods like blood and urine analysis, as they only reflect the body´s “here and now” condition. |
